Taylor Swift Girl Winter
Forget hot girl summer, forget sad girl autumn, I want a Taylor Swift girl winter. I want to remember that first fall of snow, how it glistened as it fell.
I want to remember it all too well, to feel enchanted by the lights and the food and lights and the food, and the music
of people talking, laughing, kissing, eating, sighing, of tills clacking and beeping, of bells
and jazz and wind in pine trees.
I want to remember this winter’s night forevermore. To watch everyone bustling, as though connected with invisible strings.
I want my numb fingers to be warmed by hot chocolate, my belly to be warmed by champagne, my sight
to be warmed by a thousand, fearless, golden lights.
