Christmaspoem

Lantern of the heart

Here comes winter,
With the moon’s crisp glow,
Headlights like rubies in the snow.
The silver pavement is decorated with pearls,
Whilst the icy wind swirls.

Warm is the candle’s flame,
Children playing jolly games,
A lantern of the heart,
Enjoying a jam tart.

Here comes winter,
With the moon’s crisp glow.
Headlights like rubies in the snow,
The silver pavement is decorated with pearls,
Whilst the icy wind swirls.
