By wheelchair, from John O’Groats to Land’s End
A Cheltenham man has completed a challenge to travel from John O’Groats to Land’s End in all weathers in what is believed to be the world’s first Formula 1 modified wheelchair.
Adam Stanton-Wharmby, from Cheltenham, has cerebral palsy and his wheelchair was upgraded by the Mercedes Formula 1 team to help him complete the route.
He raised almost £3,000 for the charity Whizz-Kidz through the challenge.
