The Gloucester Building Community Initiative are inviting your ideas.
This is what they say…
As we enter a winter lockdown with Covid 19 restrictions, it’s so important that as a community we look after each other. We know we can’t meet up together over the next month, but there are things we can do to stay connected. Perhaps you want to host a virtual Knit and Natter group, plant spring bulbs across your community or turn your street into an art gallery. If you have a great idea to keep your community well and active then let us know, as you could get up to £250 from the Neighbourhood Fund to get your ideas off the ground.
Before lockdown#,2 Ceri joined in with some daffodil planting in her community, organised by someone who put the neighbourhood fund to good use.
“I’ve never done any planting before, I was desperate to do something social. It was a great way to see neighbours in a safe way and do something fun. Looking forward to seeing them come out in March when I’m hoping my Covid19 vaccine will be near!Follow us:
